Development contingent on Virginia's Metrorail project

The planned $4 billion Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project, which would connect a 23-mile passenger rail line from the Tysons Corner area to Washington Dulles International Airport in Northern Virginia, is awaiting approval by the Virginia General Assembly. Gov. Timothy M. Kaine is hoping for the plan to be approved so commercial development and redevelopment can follow a fixed construction plan, according to his staffers.
