High-fructose corn syrup takes unjustified hit

Many consumers unfairly link high-fructose corn syrup to obesity, but the syrup that has been labeled "the Devil's candy" is no worse than the refined white sugar it replaces, according to scientists. Without substantial evidence to support the sweetener's link to obesity, scientists say the syrup is getting a bad rap.
