Continental gets early start on pilot contract talks

Continental Airlines has agreed to discussions with its pilots, getting an early start on negotiations for a contract that won't be needed until the end of 2008. "We look forward to continuing and even strengthening the mutually beneficial, cooperative relationship we already have with our pilots," said Fred Abbott, Continental's vice president of flight operations.
