Philips' new ultrasound device allows 3D transesophageal echo

Philips Healthcare has launched its CX50 xMatrix with Live 3D Transesophageal Echo at an echocardiography conference in Maryland. The all-in-one scanning device, designed to guide repairs in structural heart disease, offers real-time 3D transesophageal viewing of heart structure and function, among other features.
