195,000 jobs added in June, Labor Department says

The total number of nonfarm jobs added in June was 195,000, according to today's report from the Labor Department, and May's number was revised up to 195,000 from 175,000. The June unemployment rate was 7.6%, unchanged from a month earlier. However, CNBC reports that the quality of jobs was weak, adding that if discouraged job seekers and those who are underemployed were added to the unemployment number, joblessness would rise to 14.3%.
