Boeing 787 leads in canceled flights

Since Boeing's 787 returned to service with a fix for its lithium ion batteries, other problems have given the plane the undistinguished record of being the most problematic in terms of flight cancellations in United Airlines' fleet. UA flights on the Dreamliners have been canceled 3.8% of the time, compared with just 1% for other planes, according to an analysis of flights from May 20 through June 26, after the plane's return to service. United Airlines CEO Jeff Smisek said the plane has "teething pains, like all new airplanes."
