Canada and Japan may be close to sealing a trade deal

Canada is currently engaged in 14 separate sets of free-trade agreement talks, and trade experts say it's likely that a relatively straightforward deal with Japan may have the best chance of being finalized in the near future. The deal has the potential to add $9 billion and $4.9 billion to the respective economies of Canada and Japan, according to a 2012 study.
