Could a hacker take control of your car?

With the rise of connected cars, assassins of the future may be able to forgo messy killing technologies like the knife or garrote, choosing instead to hack into their victim's auto and cause an "accident." Researchers say that because of vulnerabilities inherent in car computers, the potential is there for hackers to cause havoc by disabling the engine or brakes, but that doing so is easier said than done. "If I was trying to get rid of someone, this is way on the bottom of the list of options I'd consider," said researcher Stefan Savage.
