Kindle dominates e-reader sales in Japan

Amazon's Kindle was a relative latecomer when it entered the Japan market last year, but the e-reader quickly sped ahead of rivals to become the top seller. Kindle commanded 38.3% of e-reader sales in Japan in the 12-month period through March, with Rakuten's Kobo grabbing 33% and a Sony e-reader accounting for 25.5% of the total.
