Morsi makes proposal as Egypt remains in crisis

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has refused the Egyptian army's ultimatum to leave his democratically elected post but today offered to form a consensus government until elections can be held. The military separately met today with outside leaders including Nobel laureate Mohamed ElBaradei.
