Slots at Reagan National Airport focus of antitrust review

Antitrust regulators have focused on Washington’s Ronald Reagan National Airport while reviewing the proposed American Airlines-US Airways merger. US Airways holds more than half of the airport's slots, but US Airways CEO Doug Parker said divesting slots could harm service to smaller cities. "If US Airways or the new American were asked to divest slots, we would, by definition, divest those that are the least lucrative to the airline," US Airways CEO Doug Parker said.
