Best Western to focus growth on lower-tier Chinese markets

Best Western International, with 13 hotels in the pipeline, is looking to spread its brands across second- and third-tier Chinese cities, BWI China President William Dong said. Hotel development in the country continues to expand into lower-tier markets, since even third-tier cities have populations of at least 1 million, Dong said.
