Burwell selects new Office for Civil Rights leader

HHS Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell tapped Jocelyn Samuels to become director of the agency's Office for Civil Rights. The role involves oversight of HIPAA privacy, security and breach notification. The role was previously held by Leon Rodriguez, who has been confirmed to direct the Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services unit.
