Companies urged to make privacy, fairness wellness program priorities

There should be a "brick wall" between companies and their wellness program coordinators to protect employee information privacy, says employment attorney Kathie Caminiti. Plans also must give all employees an opportunity to earn incentives, Caminiti says, by creating what the Affordable Care Act calls a "reasonable alternative standard" for those physically unable to meet wellness program requirements.
