FDA's 4-year plan includes focus on safety and quality

The FDA has issued a draft document outlining a four-year plan that will focus on five key areas, including regulatory science, quality and safety, and smart regulation. The FDA plan, which is up for comment through July 31, is meant to give the public better access to health data, bring innovative products to market more quickly and ensure product safety.
