Less demand leads to reduced cocoa powder production

Decreased demand for cocoa powder, used in ice cream, cookies and beverages, has forced Euromar Commodities to reduce cocoa grinding at its German factory. Transmar Group has also lowered production at its German facility. The building of several new factories in Asia and Africa has led to excess capacity and created powder stockpiles.
