N.J. lawmaker: Expanded gaming could be on ballot in 2015

N.J. state Sen. Stephen Sweeney, a long-time supporter of Atlantic City, N.J., said there is a "very real possibility" that a proposal to expand gaming in the state could be on the ballot next year. However, N.J. Gov. Chris Christie established a five-year moratorium on new gaming locations in 2011, which lasts through early 2016. Supporters of expanded gaming have proposed a casino at the Meadowlands in northern New Jersey.
