Study: Insulin pumps control blood glucose better than injections

Insulin pumps provide better control of blood glucose for adults with type 2 diabetes than daily self-administered injections, according to an international study of 331 patients published in The Lancet. The study found that the group with pumps needed less insulin and had shorter periods of high blood glucose than the injection group.
