U. of Chicago IT department works to become more engaged on campus

The information technology department at the University of Chicago is sponsoring contests and using other methods to showcase the resources it can provide to faculty and students. "It's hard for faculty and students to understand that the people who fix their laptops are also the people who can help them innovate and help them come up with new ways to conduct their research," said Susan Grajek, vice president for data, research and analytics at Educause.
