Unemployment rate fell to 6.1% in June

The U.S. unemployment rate fell to an almost six-year low of 6.1% in June, with 288,000 jobs added. "The labor market was already showing clear improvement, but it has accelerated further in recent months," said Jim O’Sullivan, chief U.S. economist at High Frequency Economics.
