Survey: Most see alternative-energy investments wise, few buy

A recent survey says that although many U.S. investors see the purchase of stock in companies specializing in alternative energy as wise, few of them actually buy it. The Calvert Group survey found 85% of respondents believed alternative-energy investments would produce profits, but only 20% have talked about it with financial advisers, leading the firm to conclude public concern is "at a tipping point."
