Wyndham's plan for hotel in NYC'S Chinatown faces possible protests

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts' plan to open a 108-room hotel in New York's Chinatown could be hampered by protests by a community group affiliated with displaced tenants. The group plans to block the hotel's opening if the tenants are not compensated. A spokeswoman for Wyndham declined to comment on tenants' demands and clarified that William Su is the developer and owner of the hotel, and Wyndham will only be the operator.
