Aesthetic medicine sees new focus on prevention, experts say

Aesthetic medicine physicians and industry experts say there is more emphasis being put on preventive care and global treatment and less on one-off treatments. Speakers at the annual Vegas Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology meeting said patients want safe, minimally invasive treatments that provide a natural look, are cost-effective and require less recovery time. Plastic surgeon Grant Stevens said he got good results with a multimedia campaign built around the phrase "Freeze the Fat."
