Online ads promote unhealthy food choices to children

Eighty-four percent of 3.4 billion food advertisements featured on children's websites promoted products that had high concentrations of fat, sugar and/or sodium, according to a recent study. The food products described by companies as being healthy and appropriate for children were least likely to meet the Interagency Working Group's nutrition standards, researchers said.
