Report: Advisers should view baby boomers as 2 distinct groups

There are important differences between early-stage and late-stage baby boomers, and it's important to avoid grouping them together when evaluating their retirement needs, according to a study by the Insured Retirement Institute. "Those on the back end of the generation have had a much different workplace experience than the first boomers," said Cathy Weatherford, the institute's president and CEO.
