WPP to create a dedicated team for Chanel

After a review of its media account, luxury fashion brand Chanel has enlisted WPP to create a "dedicated venture" called "Plus" that will also handle creative and digital duties, according to a Chanel spokeswoman. "Plus" will pull executives from MEC, Mindshare, Ogilvy and AKQA, according to sources. "This new model will allow Chanel to access WPP's best talents with media at heart," the spokeswoman said.
