BEUC questions Google-DoubleClick deal

The BEUC, a prominent consumer rights outfit in Europe, is afraid that Google's acquisition of DoubleClick will interfere with EU privacy rights. In the U.S., the FTC already has been asked by public interest advocates to look into whether the large amount of data stored by the companies will impinge on user privacy.
