Barents Sea may hold 76 billion barrels of oil equivalent:

The U.S. Geological Survey estimates that more than 76 billion barrels of oil equivalent may be "technically recoverable" along the Barents Sea shelf north of the Arctic Circle. The Interior Department conducted an assessment of the area in 2008.
