LaHood urges marine highways for Oakland, Calif.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood is urging creation of marine highways in the Port of Oakland to ease traffic congestion. The California port could ship cargo over the water to the Ports of Sacramento and Stockton instead of using diesel trucks to ship goods. "A marine highway will get trucks off the road and clean up the air," LaHood said.
