Summer class prepares students for math, science careers

About 3,600 Texas students will dedicate their summers for the next four years to learning math and science. The program is open to high-achieving students, and officials hope to draw more minorities and females into math and science careers by offering students rigorous lessons and hands-on projects during the summer months.
