Web site provides radiation dose information for several tests

Several radiologists have formed X-rayRisk.com, a Web site that features gender- and age-based radiation dose estimates for several procedures, including CT and nuclear medicine. The site, which logs about 3,000 global visits monthly, allows patients to calculate and record radiation doses from these imaging procedures. Developers of the site are planning to include more information on pediatric imaging in the future.
