Montana city adopts ordinance that requires insurance for aggressive dogs

A new ordinance in White Sulphur Springs, Mont., requires owners of canine breeds that are considered aggressive to show proof of insurance when they obtain a license for their pets. The insurance requirement does not apply to area residents who already owned Rottweilers, pit bulls and Dobermans before June 17, unless their dog shows aggressive behavior.
