Chipotle invested $2.3 million in short-lived Soul Daddy

Chipotle Mexican Grill invested $2.3 million in exchange for an equity interest in "America's Next Great Restaurant" winner Jamawn Woods' three Soul Daddy restaurants, and founder and ANGR judge Steve Ells added another $220,000, according to new SEC filings. All three Soul Daddy locations closed just weeks after opening.
