FDA gives Royal Philips nod on image-guidance technology

The FDA has cleared Royal Philips to market AlluraClarity, an image-guidance system that uses low X-ray radiation dose. The technology can aid in aneurysm repair, aortic valve implantation and as a guidance tool during procedures to treat atrial septum defects, according to the company.
