Fortune 500 food maker looks to develop melt-resistant chocolate

Innovation service provider NineSigma says an unnamed Fortune 500 packaged food company wants proposals on how to create a chocolate coating for cookies that resists melting. The company will provide $50,000 in funding to companies that can give them proof of concepts within 6 to 9 months. Both Mondelez and Nestle are already working on temperature-tolerant chocolate of their own.
