Researchers aim to spot suicidal social media users in real time

Researchers with the Durkheim Project say they're planning to use real-time social data to spot people who are at risk of self-harm or suicide. The project will cross-reference participants' social chatter with other factors such as family stresses, head injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder.
