Scientists turn to crowdsourcing for help with worm study

The U.K.'s Medical Research Council is asking the public to watch dozens of mutated worms lay eggs as part of an experiment into the nature of genetics. Don't worry, you don't need to find space for the crawling creatures, known as C. elegans. Using platform hosting service Zooniverse, the scientists have set up the "Worm Watch Lab" where you can watch 30-second videos of the microscopic worms laying eggs and count how many times they do.
