Small breweries help reinvigorate downtrodden areas

Small brewery businesses have the potential to revitalize once run-down neighborhoods -- sometimes so much so that they and other small businesses become priced out. The Brooklyn Brewery, located in New York, helped breathe new life into the borough's Williamsburg neighborhood, but now it faces the prospect of higher rent.
