Social video is becoming an increasingly important component of word-of-mouth marketing with a recent BI Intelligence study finding that a majority of online video is viewed through social media platforms. The study also states that "consumers are more likely to enjoy a brand video and remember the brand involved if they come across it because of a social media recommendation."
