Study: SAT linked to IQ

Although the Educational Testing Service insists the SAT measures only reasoning skills needed for college-level work, a new study in the June issue of Psychological Science claims the test actually measures IQ. Testmakers play down the controversial finding, which could imply low scorers have low mental ability or support theories of gaps in intelligence between racial groups.
