Young teachers seek to be professional when relating to students

Young Los Angeles teachers in their 20s must work carefully to maintain the proper emotional distance with students only a few years younger than they are. While teens appreciate having instructors who wear cool, baggy clothes to school and bring lots of energy to their classroom, the rookie teachers have to set the limits on friendliness.
