Work begins on $1.4M solar project at Texas mixed-use development

Texas-based Silver Ventures has started work on what it says will be the largest solar panel array in Texas. As many as 700 solar panels, worth $1.4 million, will be installed at the Full Goods Building, a warehouse being renovated into a mixed-use project with offices, retail space and eight residential units. The solar panels will serve as an interactive, educational display for visitors.
