Leaders must find blind spots when making decisions

How a decision is made is every bit as important as what is decided, said author Tom Davenport. Leaders often take the path that is most comfortable for them, he said, instead of relying on data and logic to help them make the call. While it is important for leaders to become more analytical, they must also realize that most other people do not base their decision making on rational processes, Davenport said.
