Crunch time for MySpace as its Google ad deal ends

MySpace's $900 million advertising deal with Google expires next month, and the network is scrambling to line up a replacement. Yahoo! and Microsoft are believed to be in discussion with News Corp. officials, but any deal is likely to bring in far less cash for MySpace, which has seen ad revenue slump in recent months.
