Experts differ on success of in-flight Wi-Fi

Only 10% of passengers who could sign up for in-flight Wi-Fi are actually doing so, according to some analysts, who cite high fees as the root cause of low usage rates. But airlines and service providers say they are pleased with Wi-Fi usage, noting that the phenomenon is still relatively new and wireless connectivity is available on less than one-third of U.S. commercial aircraft.
