Display division affects Samsung's Q2 profits

Samsung reported second-quarter operating profits of about $3.5 billion, down by about a quarter. Weak demand for TVs and computer monitors likely led to an operating loss for the display division, according to analyst estimates, even as the company is on track to beat its sales target of 60 million smartphones with the strength of its Galaxy line.
