How blended-learning models are used to transform education

Blended-learning models are aimed at creating a new and innovative approach to education, rather than supporting existing methods, says Heather Staker, senior research fellow and education project manager with Innosight Institute. Staker, who was among a team of researchers to identify 40 different models of blended instruction, discusses in this interview how the approach could best be used transform and improve K-12 education.
