Sen. Brown touts benefits of new CSX intermodal terminal

CSX's intermodal facility in North Baltimore, Ohio, has initially created more than 250 jobs, said Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio. "North Baltimore will provide an important gateway for shippers from all across the country to send and sell their goods in the eastern United States, helping to strengthen our nation's economy," said Brown. The Northwest Ohio terminal, which will be accommodating more than 30 rail cars per day and with a handling capacity of 2 million containers and trailers each year, is part of CSXT's $842 million National Gateway project.
