N.D. oil patch draws foreign investments

North Dakota oil production has attracted at least 31 foreign investment projects amounting to $1.04 billion since 2003, according to SelectUSA. Recently, Swiss company Stropiq and Singapore-based Barons Group of Companies proposed investing $500 million and $300 million, respectively, in developing oil patch projects.
