Ariz. airport users want noise study in response to complaints

Pilots and businesses operating at Falcon Field municipal airport, in Mesa, Ariz., are urging the city to seek funding from the FAA to conduct a comprehensive noise study in response to growing complaints about noise from the airfield, which has become the nation's fourth busiest general aviation airport. Many of the complaints have targeted the airport's airline training school, and the airport tenants and users group says it will pay for any costs for the noise study that the FAA doesn't cover.
